There is a new research line on MBR control and automation at LEQUiA (Laboratory of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, University of Girona) and at the ICRA(Catalan Institute for Water Research). The main activity of this research line is focused on the development and application of Decision Support Systems for the supervision of membrane bioreactors for wastewater treatment and reuse.
